The Lakers and Timberwolves' game brought out many familiar faces. On April 30, the Los Angeles team hosted Game 5 in their best-of-seven series against Minnesota. Throughout the night, many eagle-eyed fans quickly noticed some major A-list celebrities sitting courtside.

Two of the most notable stars that attended the game created a lot of buzz on social media. Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet were seen cheering on the LA team, which garnered attention from onlookers.

Several photos made its way to Instagram — showing the happy couple sharing some PDA moments throughout the night. The stars even got a shoutout from the official Lakers’ account as they posted a photo of the two with the caption, “Timothée reppin’ Mamba with Kylie.”

As for the Mamba reference, the Bob Dylan actor wore a t-shirt with Kobe Bryant’s face on it. While some were excited to see the pair courtside, others weren’t too impressed by their appearance.

Commenters quickly shared their opinions under the post — and even blamed Jenner and Chalamet for the games outcome. One user wrote, “Man this is why we losing, all these Hollywood rich people that are not real fans.”

This was a pivotal game for the Lakers as the team needed to secure a win to stay in the mix. Despite their efforts, the Timberwolves advanced to the second round of the 2025 NBA Playoffs.

Just a few rows behind the couple, fans posted one of Chalamet’s ex-girlfriends in attendance. Lily-Rose Depp was seated next to her partner 070 Shake during the event.

Kyrie Irving also made a surprise appearance at the Crytpo.com Arena to support his former team mate Luka Dončić. The Dallas Mavericks star seemingly got LeBron James’ approval as he reportedly pointed to Irving after he dunked in the second quarter.
