The San Francisco 49ers are bound for the postseason and are on a six-game winning streak ahead of their Week 18 clash against divisional rivals the Seattle Seahawks.

The 49ers' clash against the Seahawks will determine the top seed ahead of the playoffs. Things looked a lot different for San Francisco at the start of the season and it was highlighted by a heated sideline moment between coach Kyle Shanahan and wide receiver Jauan Jennings.

The duo had a heated argument at halftime during the Week 6 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Heading into the regular season finale, Shanahan reflected on the incident, saying they haven't had any arguments since.

"That's just what people who are close do," Shanahan said. "He was competitive. He was frustrated that he didn't get the ball. And I was frustrated that he was frustrated.

"We've been with each other long enough to know that it'll work out. Let's quit making a big deal about it. But we got in a little heated argument on the sidelines, got a lot better at halftime, and then, we really made up the next day. And we haven't had any arguments since."

49ers coach Kyle Shanahan acknowledged Jauan Jennings' injury struggles

The 49ers wide receiver had a frustrating start to the season as he was troubled by multiple injuries, followed by a calf injury that sidelined him during training camp.

Shanahan acknowledged Jauan Jennings' frustration and praised the WR for never losing his calm, even in the face of adversity.

"It was tough. It was a battle for him," Shanahan said. "I watched him grind through a number of practices, just trying to see if he could go. I know he had to miss a few games, just where he couldn't make it. And then, every time he would go, it would kind of happen again. "So, I think Wednesdays and Thursdays were really rough. He'd always find a way to get out there Friday. When you miss time like that because you can't go, and to still be able to get himself [ready] for the game, where he's not making mistakes and everything, and just being patient.

Jennings has been Shanahan's most productive assets during their six-game winning streak as has scored at least one touchdown in seven of his last eight games.
