At the Emmys 2025 Sept. 14, Nobody Wants This star Justine Lupe revealed costar Kristen Bell's biohacking tricks, including a mind-blowing way to avoid gaining weight from pasta and carbs.
Emmys 2025: Kristen Bell's Mind-Blowing Wellness Hacks Revealed by Justine Lupe
Everybody definitely wants Kristen Bell's secrets to staying youthful.
Luckily, her Nobody Wants This costar Justine Lupe is happy to spill the beans on one of Bell's dietary tricks.
"The most surprising thing I've learned about her is that she's obsessed with biohacking in a way that I don't know if anyone else has been as obsessed with biohacking," Lupe exclusively told E! News correspondent Zuri Hall Sept. 14 during Live From E!: 2025 Emmys on the Emmys 2025 red carpet. "You ask her anything about your glucose levels, you ask her how to plug up your system before you eat a bowl of pasta, the woman knows what the heck to do."
It turns out, the Veronica Mars alum is quite an expert in the do-it-yourself practice, in which people use supplements, dietary practices, technology and experimental methods to improve their bodies.
Lupe even passed along her castmate's No. 1 tip for all the pasta and bread lovers out there.
"She says have spinach or a green or some sort of leafy, fibery thing—or Metamucil and a shot of apple cider vinegar—before you have a bunch of carbohydrates," the 36-year-old told E! at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles. "It, supposedly, stabalizes your glucose. You can thank Kristen Bell for thank, everyone." (See every star on the Emmys red carpet here.)
As for the coming second season of their Netflix comedy, Lupe admitted she sometimes listens to creators' Erin Foster and Sara Foster's podcast The World's First Podcast to channel her character's vibe (the series is loosely based on the sister duo).

"I listen to it sometimes just to tap into Sara's voice," Lupe shared. "Because it's so helpful to hear them talk and they way that they relate to each other."
And while we're a few hours away from finding out if Nobdy Wants This wins Best Comedy (see the full list of nominees and winners here), Lupe has already won the award for best dressed in her her sexy, see-through Carolina Herrera gown featuring a plunging neckline.

"I feel excited, it's so fun," she gushed. "I had my eye on this dress since I saw it on the runway and I'm just so grateful that they let me wear it today."
