The New York Knicks ended a 53-year championship drought by defeating the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals, and now it's time to celebrate.
The Knicks will have their championship parade on Thursday morning in New York City, taking a trip up the Canyon of Heroes for the first time since 1973. While New York has hosted its share of parades, this Knicks celebration is special for a fanbase that went over five decades without seeing a title.
The parade will surely feature many of the Knicks' celebrity fans along with New Yorkers taking off of work to enjoy the moment with the team. It has a chance to be one of the rowdier championship parades in recent memory.
