Content creator IShowSpeed teamed up with Kevin Durant for the fourth episode of his “Speed Goes Pro” series, where he took on basketball challenges that included combine drills, shooting exercises, a pickup game and a 3-point shootout against the Houston Rockets star.
On Wednesday, just hours after the episode dropped, Durant and the Rockets cruised past the struggling Washington Wizards, 135-112. Following the game, Durant was asked about his time with the popular streamer, and he had nothing but praise.

When asked if Speed had challenged him during their 3-point shootout, Durant laughed it off.
“Of course not,” Durant said. “But Speed is fast, though. Boy, he more of a football player than me, I think. But he's an athlete.”The episode was packed with hilarious moments — from Durant walking off during their 2-on-2 game after Speed struggled on both ends, to the streamer getting dominated in shooting drills.
There were also jaw-dropping scenes, like Speed reportedly breaking a world record in the 3/4 sprint, finishing in 2.805 seconds in front of Durant.
Kevin Durant, Rockets finding their rhythm
Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets have hit their stride, winning seven of their last eight outings, the latest being a commanding victory over the Wizards to kick off a three-game homestand. After starting the season 0-2, the Rockets have surged to a 7-3 record, sitting fourth in the Western Conference.
Durant finished Wednesday’s win with 23 points on 16 shots in nearly 31 minutes of action. Rookie Reed Sheppard added a season-high 21 points, while Tari Eason chipped in 20. Starters Amen Thompson, Alperen Sengun, and Jabari Smith Jr. also delivered with 18, 16 and 15 points, respectively.
So far this season, Kevin Durant is averaging 24.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists — his lowest scoring average since his rookie campaign.
Still, that production has been more than enough for a Rockets team boasting the league’s top offensive rating (123.1) and the sixth-best defensive rating (112.1). Those numbers have Houston ranked among the NBA’s most dangerous squads, trailing only the OKC Thunder and Denver Nuggets in net rating.
