Kevin Durant caught tearing into fan on hot mic: ‘Can’t do s–t’

Kevin Durant’s frustrations with a fan boiled over during the Rockets’ road win over the Pistons on Friday, with the star ripping a fan as a “fat motherf–ker” who “can’t do s–t,” as seen in separate clips.

Another video showed Durant seemingly yelling in a fan’s direction to “suck my d–k” while shooting a free throw.

While it’s unclear what prompted Durant to diss the fan and when it occurred during Houston’s 111-104 victory, the interaction seemingly started with Durant near the sideline before a free-throw attempt.

“Watch your f–king mouth,” Durant said.

Then, the clip cut to Durant, with a towel draped around his shoulders, as he continued talking trash with the fan, who was wearing a Tigers hat inside Little Caesars Arena.

Durant also got caught telling someone to perform a sexual act on a hot mic while shooting a free throw in the second quarter with the Rockets trailing, 50-47.

In addition to the one comment, he seemed to add: “You’re a grown man on my d–k all night.”

Durant, who has been known to engage with fans and their criticism through posts on social media, finished with 32 points on 11-of-19 shooting — including 5-of-11 from beyond the arc — during the Rockets’ win, their sixth in the last eight games.

Their latest materialized against a Detroit team that entered with 32 wins and in first place in the Eastern Conference, and the Pistons suffered just their 11th loss of the season in a matchup that could — depending on how everything unfolds the rest of the year — become an NBA Finals preview.

The Rockets added to a young and promising core with the addition of Durant in the offseason, and he has collected at least 20 points in all but seven of the games he has appeared in to start the campaign.

“The intensity is going to ramp up as the season goes on and … teams are getting ready to make that push. It’s right before the All-Star break,” Durant told reporters, according to the Houston Chronicle. “So usually teams start to make that push: Alright, this is who we want to be. You can sense that around this time of year. Tonight was physical. It’s going to be more physical going forward for us.”

After salvaging the second night of a back-to-back following their loss to the 76ers on Thursday, the Rockets — who enter Saturday’s games as the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference, eight games behind the top-seeded Thunder — will face the Grizzlies on Monday.
