Bower's Vecna unleashed chaos in the lives of Eleven and her friends in Stranger Things season 4. His past as Henry Creel and his intense showdown with Eleven gave the viewers a look at how his journey as Vecna began.

In season 4, Nancy, Steve, and Robin had managed to set him ablaze while Eleven overpowered him in the Upside Down. While Vecna disappeared mysteriously in the end, his deadly return was ensured in the final moments of the finale. Not only did the devastation in Hawkins promise his comeback, but Will also felt his strong presence ready to take over the town soon.

In season 5, Vecna returns with more power and darker plans to spread his dominance. Additionally, the upcoming installment may also delve further into his backstory and his involvement in the chaos since Will's abduction in season 1. This was also suggested in the first five minutes of Stranger Things 5, unveiled by Netflix. As the trailer suggests, Vecna will also reunite with Will to take his help for one last time.

These points showcase that Vecna will make matters difficult for the heroes in Hawkins, pushing them to make strong moves for the final battle.
