"Just send it to Shohei Ohtani's house" - Fans dismiss any chance for Juan Soto and Kyle Schwarber to win 2025 NL MVP Award

With the baseball season now done and dusted, Shohei Ohtani, Kyle Schwarber and Juan Soto were confirmed as the finalists for the NL MVP award.

MLB took to X on Monday to inform fans of the same.

"Your 2025 NL Most Valuable Player Award finalists: Shohei Ohtani, Kyle Schwarber, Juan Soto" the post read

Though both Schwarber and Soto enjoyed superb seasons in their own right, it is by no means a stretch to claim Ohtani is the overwhelming favorite for the award, taking into account his two-way prowess as a hitter and pitcher.

As a result, it appears many fans have already concluded Ohtani is sure to take home the prestigious prize come November. Plenty took to X to make their feelings known.

"Just send it to Ohtani’s house. We all know he is the winner (not complaining about it)." a fan wrote "Why are there even finalists? As long as Shohei is in this game, this award will always be his. Staying on the theme of back-to-back successes, soon after he is done celebrating his second consecutive championship win, Shohei Ohtani may be taking home his second NL MVP award in two years.
