Jon Moxley and his Death Riders are set to compete in the Blood & Guts match next week against Darby Allin, Roderick Strong, and The Conglomeration. Moxley's momentum as the faction leader has taken a significant hit over the past few months due to several setbacks. Therefore, it creates a must-win situation for him in the Blood & Guts. As a result, to pick up a strong win, Mox might be orchestrating a plan to recruit an ex-WWE star to his faction.
The Purveyor of Violence might convince former NXT star Roderick Strong to join the Death Riders during the Blood & Guts match. While Strong has been one of the top rivals of Moxley over the past few months, he has a chance to join Mox's faction due to his connection with his wife, Marina Shafir. Besides, the 42-year-old has been doing little to nothing significant as a babyface in AEW. Therefore, a heel turn, especially his addition to the Death Riders, could be a game-changer for him.
Therefore, at Blood & Guts, when it may feel like Darby Allin and his team could defeat the Death Riders, Strong might shock the world with a heartbreaking betrayal. He could smash The Daredevil and The Conglomeration with a steel chair to reveal his fealty to Mox and his group. Such an angle could help the former AEW World Champion to pick up a win over his long-time rival, Darby Allin.
Roderick Strong's betrayal could make things unpredictable at Blood & Guts next week. An angle like this could help AEW to protect Darby Allin's momentum while giving a big win to the Death Riders. Also, with this heel turn, Marina Shafir and Strong would be able to have an AEW run together on the same side. Therefore, there is a good possibility for such an angle to unfold. Nonetheless, it is just a speculation.

Jon Moxley to go on a break after AEW Blood & Guts?
Jon Moxley has been one of the most important parts of All Elite Wrestling's main event storylines for the past year. After having a solid run as the AEW World Champion, The Purveyor of Violence has been delivering an amazing feud with Darby Allin.
However, after such a memorable performance, many fans are now wondering if it might be time for Moxley to take a short break from in-ring action. The Death Riders' leader has been performing every week on the shows. He has little to nothing left to do in the company as of now. Therefore, in order to give a reset to his character, Jon Moxley needs a potential break.
If his faction manages to pick up a win in the Blood & Guts match, it may open the door for him to take a break. As a result, there are good chances that Jon Moxley might go on a hiatus following the double caged match next week in AEW.
