Cristiano Ronaldo was pivotal for his Al-Nassr side as they created history in the Saudi Pro League following a 3-0 win over Al-Okhdood. The Knights of Najd picked up a tenth successive league win to start the 2025-26 season, extending their 100% record since the start of the campaign.
Ronaldo and Al-Nassr have been in sensational form this season as they aim for an elusive first piece of silverware of their union. The 40-year-old was at the double in their first league game back following a month-long break, helping them record a tenth win on the trot.
Jorge Jesus' side have reached previously uncharted territory, as no team in the history of the league has ever won ten games from the start of a season. The Knights of Najd lead the standings after ten games, sitting four points ahead of Al-Hilal in second place.
Cristiano Ronaldo was at the double for his side, scoring both of his goals in the first half of their Al-Awwal Park home. The former Real Madrid man took his tally for the season to 12 goals, with no player scoring more in the opening ten games of this season.
Al-Nassr have won all of their league games this season, and have won all of their AFC Champions League Two games, as they stand significantly clear of their opposition. Their only defeat of the season so far came in the Round of 16 of the King's Cup against Al-Ittihad.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice for Al-Nassr in their convincing 3-0 win over Al-Okhdood in the Saudi Pro League. The veteran Portugal international helped his side to extend their lead atop the league standings with a masterful showing at home.
Ronaldo failed to get on the scoresheet in the midweek win over Al-Zawraa in the AFC Champions League Two, playing 45 minutes. The forward opened the scoring for his side in the 31st minute against Al-Okhdood, tapping home from close range following a flick from Abdulelah Al-Amri.
Cristiano Ronaldo added a second goal to the scoresheet just before the break with another close range effort in stopprage time. The experienced forward had an effort ruled out for offside in the second half, before Kingsley Coman struck the woodwork with an attempt. Al-Nassr rounded off the points as Joao Felix added a third with his 12th goal of the season in stoppage time.
