Jon Moxley (fka Dean Ambrose) may be done with AEW for a while

Jon Moxley has been one of the workhorses of AEW for the past year. During this time, he had a reign as the world champion, and has been in feuds with several big names on the roster.

However, things may change quickly for him, as his current position may be in jeopardy. He has led the Death Riders to war on multiple occasions, but if there have been hints about potential changes within the group, that could come at Mox's cost.

AEW Worlds End may be his final chance to prove himself, and it seems like he is aware of this. He is set to face Kyle Fletcher in the Continental Classic semi-finals, and this will only be one of two hurdles he has to get past.

The Death Riders seem to have their doubts about Jon Moxley

After losing the AEW World Championship at All In to 'Hangman' Adam Page, Jon Moxley has been in a bit of a pickle. He has ended up losing most of his high-profile matches since, losing to rivals of his, such as Darby Allin and Kyle O'Reilly. The Death Riders have also fallen short in beating all the groups that oppose them.

Mox has been trying to make excuses for this, as he claimed that they may have won the battle, but he has won the war. His stablemates seem to be less convinced about this, something that many have noticed.

they are so tired of moxley bulls**t. it's over!

A new leader of the Death Riders may emerge

Bryan Danielson revealed earlier this month that the reason why Moxley was chosen as the leader of the Blackpool Combat Club at the time was that none of them could beat him. Now, it has been proven that Mox might not even be the best in his own team, with Claudio Castagnoli taking a clean win over him during the Continental Classic.

If the Purveyor of Violence falls short in the Continental Classic semi-finals or finals, he'll have nothing to show for it. Claudio, on the other hand, does, as he is the CMLL World Heavyweight Champion after ending Gran Guerrero's three-year reign.

"When we were in the Blackpool Combat Club together, I was never able to defeat Jon Moxley, that's why we saw him as the leader. Claudio Castagnoli has just defeated Jon Moxley!" said Danielson. [H/T WrestleTalk]

He could have the same fate as Bryan Danielson

Bryan Danielson was kicked out of the Blackpool Combat Club after they no longer had any need for him. He was going down a different path than they were, and decided to take him out. They were even the ones who took the world title and ended his career.

The same could happen to Jon Moxley if he does not leave Worlds End with the Continental title. He is the only member of the Death Riders to qualify, but the pressure is now all on him. If he falls short, they could take him out during the pay-per-view as they did to Danielson.

Claudio Castagnoli could emerge as the leader of the group if this happens. Mox could take some time off after this and come back to get his revenge on the group. He would now be a babyface, and someone the crowd will surely rally behind. This would be a great change for him as well.
