WWE legend John Cena is reportedly set to compete in a wrestling match on Monday Night RAW. The Cenation Leader hasn't wrestled on the red brand in over a year and a half. His last in-ring appearance on RAW saw him team up with Awesome Truth against The Judgment Day on April 8, 2024.

The 48-year-old will make his final appearance in his hometown of Boston, Massachusetts, on the November 10 edition of WWE RAW. The veteran is scheduled to open the show. However, according to BodySlam, he could very well challenge Dominik Mysterio for the coveted WWE Intercontinental Championship later in the night.

The WWE Intercontinental Championship is the only title missing from John Cena's cabinet. Ever since he lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam, there have been rumors suggesting he would win the title before hanging up his boots. Only time will tell if he manages to get his hands on the elusive championship, and if it happens tonight in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dominik Mysterio is ready to wrestle John Cena for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Dominik Mysterio has been the WWE Intercontinental Champion since WrestleMania 41. He has not only held the title for over 200 days but in the meantime has also managed to win the AAA Mega Title to become a double champion.

In a recent interview with Tony Free, The Judgment Day member addressed the rumors about a potential IC Championship defense against The Cenation Leader. Mysterio claimed that he was ready to go up against Cena and issued a stern warning to the veteran.

"I mean, at the end of the day, I'm here. If John Cena wants some, he can come get some. He's got four dates left, you said. I mean, if that old geezer wants me to put a final nail in his coffin, I'll be more than happy to. You know, that's what I'm here for. I'm here to be and stay your dirty double champ," Mysterio said.

Rey Mysterio made his return from injury last week to reignite his rivalry with Dominik Mysterio. The WWE Hall of Famer could make his presence felt in case "Dirty" Dom goes up against John Cena later tonight.
