One said, "We will trade you next year bro. Dont worry we got you" Another wrote, "ur literally injured lmao" One chimed in, saying, "U fell off"Tyreek Hill is one of the most accomplished wide receivers of his generation. The Kansas City Chiefs drafted Hill in 2016, and he made an instant impact as a return specialist.
Hill eventually developed into a top-tier wide receiver, and he has the All-Pro selections, Pro Bowl nods, and lone Super Bowl to prove it. However, the Dolphins' superstar is currently recovering from a knee injury that he sustained against the New York Jets in Week 4.
Tyreek Hill targeting 2026 return to action
Tyreek Hill has been ruled out for the rest of the 2025 season. The perennial Pro Bowler has surgery soon after the injury, and he's currently targeting a 2026 return to the Gridiron.
According to ESPN, the timetable for Hill's recovery depends on which structures are specifically involved and the extent of the surgical repair. There's no point in comparing Hill's potential recovery timeline to that of other athletes, as there are too many peculiar factors associated with each injury.
The report notes that Hill agreed to a restructured deal last offseason, which added $65 million in guaranteed money to the four-year, $120 million contract he signed in 2022. It's unclear as to whether the Dolphins will cut him in a salary cap-saving move before he resumes action in 2026.
Mike McDaniel's side must now navigate the rest of the season without their WR1. The Dolphins are currently third in the AFC East, and they'll have their work cut out to reach the playoffs.
