Joe Brady urged to make 1 move for Bills success

One of the biggest issues plaguing the Buffalo Bills in recent seasons has been the lack of receiver options for Josh Allen.

Khalil Shakir is his go-to guy, but aside from that? It's tight end Dalton Kincaid.

No. 17 needs more. And perhaps more importantly, a star receiver to help should the offensive load.

But where can the Bills look? The draft is one option, so is free agency. It will depend on how much general manager Brandon Beane wants to spend on a receiver, though.

Bleacher Report's Alex Kay has an idea of who the Bills could go after -- Indianapolis Colts star Alec Pierce.

“If that decision is going to be successful, his first offseason calling the shots must include an overhaul of the receiving corps," Kay wrote. “Buffalo could benefit from several of the big-name wideouts hitting free agency this spring, but Alec Pierce is the most realistic target in terms of projected contract and impact his role could have on the offense.”

Is Pierce a realistic target?

You could say that. In each of his four years, Pierce's production has increased, and he is coming off a 1,003-yard, 6 TD season with the Colts.

But this is the stat the Bills will like the most. In the last two seasons, Pierce has averaged over 20 yards per reception.

There's Allen's deep threat.

Spotrac.com has his calculated market value set at $20.2 million APY, so that won't break the bank for the Bills, and it would give the offense another playmaker alongside Shakir and Kincaid.

He might not be top of the wish list for some, but Pierce could be a dangerous weapon in Brady's offense.
