LA Lakers coach JJ Redick went scorched earth on his team on Thursday following an embarrassing 119-96 loss to the Houston Rockets. In front of a sellout crowd at Crypto.com Arena on Thursday, the Lakers never managed to grab the lead. Redick’s team was dominated in almost every aspect, prompting him to question his team’s attitude.
After the game, Redick answered when asked about what he plans to do to improve the team:
“I told the guys, Saturday’s practice is gonna be uncomfortable. The meeting is gonna be uncomfortable. I’m not doing another 53 games like this.”•

This is the second game that JJ Redick ripped his team’s effort and commitment. After a 132-108 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday, he moaned about his team’s inability to make the “tough choices.” The former NBA journeyman added that being “comfortable,” which he said was what they have been doing, would not lead to wins.
