Nic Nemeth believes Jey Uso did not need to regain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Former WWE star Nic Nemeth, formerly known as Dolph Ziggler, thought that Jey Uso didn't need to regain the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He made the comments before Jey's World Title match against CM Punk in 2025.

Speaking on the Busted Open podcast, Nemeth had this to say about Jey and Punk:

"I don't think either one of those guys are gonna have it. I don't know. Punk doesn't need it. Jey doesn't need it. But to have it, cool. There's nothing. It's great. Friggin' being world champion is one of the coolest damn things ever, no matter where you are or what you've done. Period. But to be so beloved by a crowd one way or another, to not need it, is the greatest attribute in pro wrestling history. That's why I really wanted somebody else, only because they don't need it. They've transcended being a world champ,"

Jey is now once again back in the tag team division and is reunited with his brother Jimmy. There have been a few questions about Jey's return to the tag team division after his run as a singles star for the majority of 2025. But, by the looks of it, The Usos are here to stay.
