The New York Jets have been making a lot of moves so far in free agency and in the trade market. They've made splashes on defense and landed Geno Smith as their new quarterback.
But, with Alijah Vera-Tucker agreeing to a contract with the New England Patriots and John Simpson going to the Baltimore Ravens, the Jets needed to find a new offensive guard.
Fortunately, they have a great one in store. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Jets are in agreement on a $20 million contract with former Las Vegas Raiders offensive guard Dylan Parham. Their OL is now complete.
Jets to sign Dylan Parham to $20M two-year deal
"The Jets work toward bolstering their offensive line, agreeing to terms with former Raiders G Dylan Parham, per The Insiders," Rapoport reports. "He gets a 2-year deal worth up to $20M negotiated by Sean Kiernan and Travis Allen of @AthletesFirst."
Parham's addition is a big one for the Jets. With two potential starters leaving in free agency, they needed to find a suitable fill-in for the left guard spot. And Parham, the 26-year-old offensive guard, is a great option.
He has made 63 starts over the last four years since being drafted by the Raiders in 2022. The 90th overall pick in the draft has been a solid starter for the Raiders since his debut.

He's played both right and left guard, and for the Jets, his landing spot is most likely going to be at left guard as the Jets plug the final hole in their offensive line.
Olu Fashanu is the left tackle, Parham will slide into the left guard spot, Josh Myers is the center, Joe Tippmann is at right guard, and Armand Membou has right tackle locked down.
While there are realistic concerns about how well the Jets will actually play, they might have a decent roster. Their offensive line is very intriguing, especially after the Parham addition.
