Jazz Chisholm Jr.’s fiancée Ahnalys shares magical moment after getting proposed to under the Northern Lights

New York Yankees second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. popped the question to singer-songwriter Ahnalys Santiago, under bright Northern Lights on Christmas during their Finland trip. The couple documented their magical moment announcing the new step in their relationship.

On Friday, Santiago shared pictures on her Instagram of when Chisholm went down on one knee. She flaunted her diamond ring with multiple secondary stones on the sides that added to the sparkle. The couple can be seen embracing in a snow-filled landscape against the bright Northern Lights.

Santiago also shared a vlog covering the entire proposal, followed by her emotional reaction. The video starts with the exact instant when her boyfriend surprised her with the ring.

"I'm a f***ing fiancee for real, ahh. I'm gonna go tell my mom," she said in the clip before bursting out in excitement.

Santiago then has a conversation with her mother, before a series of clips feature her processing the momentous occasion. The clip ends with a short video message from the Puerto Rican-Dominican and a close-up of the ring the following morning.

Santiago is known for her multiple appearances of different versions of the reality TV show, Baddies. Her discography includes Latin music in the R&B and Pop genres. Her latest releases are Leak It, Waves and Free You. She has a strong social media presence with 1.5 million followers on Instagram.

Jazz Chisholm Jr. who is often seen interacting on X, shared a video on the social media platform of Ahnalys Santiago sitting on a couch crying happily after getting engaged. In the video, Jazz can be seen asking Santiago to show a closeup of the ring before knocking her phone to the ground by mistake.

"Still gonna share my favorite moment of last night! My baby forever. #MacChisholm," he captioned.

This is a big step for the infielder who has settled well in the Yankees lineup. After his trade from the Miami Marlins at the trade deadline last season, Chisholm has hit 42 home runs and 103 RBIs while stealing 49 bases in 176 regular season games played for the team. He has also featured in 21 postseason games.
