The New York Giants had a wildly successful 2025 NFL Draft. The first round produced two big-name selections in edge rusher Abdul Carter and quarterback Jaxson Dart, both of whom are viewed as cornerstone pieces in the next phase of the team's rebuild. Fourth-round running back, Cam Skattebo, has also been met with fanfare as he joins a Giants offense that lacks a true feature runner.
The big three Giants rookies were in attendance at the NFL Rookie Premier, where fans got a first look at the incoming draft class in their official NFL threads.

Yes, you read that right. Dart and Skattebo... headbutt each other as their preferred method of greeting.

That's quite the rookie bond.
It's no surprise that Skattebo is the head-butting type. His do-it-all playing style at Arizona State was highlighted by his tough-to-tackle persona that was fun to watch.
While Dart isn't expected to start anytime soon for the New York Giants, Skattebo will challenge for an immediate role on offense. Tyrone Tracy, who had a surprisingly productive rookie season as the lead back for Big Blue in 2024, is a solid player, but not one who can't be overtaken by Skattebo, especially if he has some momentum-building runs early in his career.
