Josh Allen has been a critical part of the Buffalo Bills' offense this season. However, on Sunday, they suffered a 13-12 loss at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles. The quarterback had a slow start to the game, going scoreless during the first half.

However, in the second quarter, Josh Allen scored two back-to-back rushing touchdowns, giving the Bills a glimmer of hope. But they failed their two-point conversion attempt with seconds left in the game, resulting in the Eagles taking home the win by just one point.

On Monday on "NFL on ESPN," retired Eagles star Jason Kelce shared his blunt assessment of the Bills quarterback. He did not mince his words while criticizing Josh Allen's two-point conversion attempt in Week 16.

"He did (rush the throw)," Kelce said. "To his credit, he was pressured a little bit. ... I guarantee he's watching that and he knows himself, 'Damn, I got to make that throw.'

Despite the loss, the Bills did enough to qualify for this season's playoffs as a wild-card contender. They are in second place behind AFC East winners, the New England Patriots, with an 11-5 record.

This season, Josh Allen has recorded 3,668 yards and 25 TDs passing while rushing for 579 yards and 14 touchdowns. The Bills are ranked third best in terms of total offense, averaging 373.1 yards and 55 touchdowns.

After the game, the quarterback expressed his disappointment about not converting the two-point attempt that could have potentially won them the game.

"Yeah, I just missed," Allen said. "It just comes down to us executing, making one more play than they did. And obviously you saw that we didn't make that last play."

Colin Cowherd shares his honest thoughts on Josh Allen and the Bills' playoff run

Last season, Josh Allen and the Bills made it to the AFC championship game, where they unfortunately lost to the Chiefs.

Despite making back-to-back playoff appearances, Colin Cowherd has his doubts about the team's chances of going on to compete in Super Bowl LX.

"I think Denver will beat them (the Bills)," Cowherd said on his YouTube show on Sunday (Timestamp-10:04). "I think Jacksonville would beat them, and by the way, I watched New England today. I mean, New England's had one bad half in three months, at Buffalo. They had a great first half in that game, controlled it, they had a terrible second half. "Yeah, I can see the Buffalo being a one-and-done team. I've had them in the Herd Hierarchy around 8,9,10. It's just hard for me."
