Jared McCain shares farewell message to Philadelphia after trade to Thunder

Second-year guard Jared McCain will be continuing his career in Oklahoma City, as the Philadelphia 76ers traded him to the Thunder in exchange for draft picks prior to the NBA trade deadline.

Before suiting up for his new team though, McCain shared a message of appreciation for the city, and fans, that first made his NBA dream come true.

Philly, [I’m] so grateful for everything, the love the city showed, my teammates and staff becoming family,” McCain wrote in an Instagram caption. “It will always be a home for me and incredibly blessed to be drafted here. So much more to say but just want to say thank you Philadelphia.”
