Jared McCain is excited to play in front of the Oklahoma City Thunder's passionate crowd

The Oklahoma City Thunder are the defending champions, but they have looked a bit vulnerable this season. They wanted to improve upon their championship-winning team, especially with their offense outside of the big three.

They got that with Jared McCain, who is only a sophomore, but he could be a game-changer on offense. He and Ajay Mitchell could be the offensive punch they need to win more games.

McCain knows the OKC crowd will be fun to play for

McCain is always a crowd favorite, dating back to his time at Duke. With the Philadelphia 76ers, he was one of the most impressive young players, but he was overshadowed by VJ Edgecombe's arrival.

That led to the 76ers parting ways with him, so he could get more opportunities. It appears that he is blessed with good luck because he is joining the best team in the league, and he could play a pivotal role for head coach Mark Daigneault.

Now that he has joined up with the team, McCain is ready to get started. He is already familiar with some of the team from his first year in the league. However, he is also aware of the passionate fans in OKC.

"That was crazy. I was with my friends at the time. We were sitting in the crowd, which was a crazy atmosphere... Any player wants that, the crowd, you dream about it when you work out by yourself," McCain said ahead of playing for the Thunder.

McCain is excited to play for the Thunder because he knows he will play his heart out when given the chance. He has all the tools to become a difference-maker with his shooting and offensive upside.

Daigneault will have a lot of options now because McCain is versatile enough to be a regular member of the rotation. People already saw what he could do in Philly, that could improve even more with OKC.
