Many people may remember Hannah Ann Sluss from Peter Weber’s explosive ending of The Bachelor back in 2020. Weber ended up proposing to Sluss at the end of the season, but later changed his mind, leading to lots of drama.

While Sluss didn’t find lasting love on the show, she did find it a short time later when she met professional football player Jake Funk. The pair had an instant connection, began dating, and eventually tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Italy.

Now, Funk and Sluss have officially announced that they are expecting their first child together. The pair turned to Instagram on Sunday, June 22, to share the exciting news.

“Each day growing you is a blessing 🤍 God’s plan is more perfect than we ever imagined. We know God is in this story, and we can’t wait to meet you 👼 #pregnancyannouncement #momtobe,” she captioned the post.

She included an adorable photo of Funk kneeling to kiss her baby bump as they posed on the beach.

During an interview with People, Sluss shared a little bit about how she found out that she was going to be a mom.

"We found out we were expecting during a trip to Dubai," She said. "It was such an unexpected and joyful surprise! A moment we'll always treasure. I will be sharing Jake's reaction video soon, it was so funny!"

Funk has played for several different NFL teams throughout his career, including the Indianapolis Colts, the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Detroit Lions. Sluss has worked as a model and influencer.
