The Jacksonville Jaguars have shown, over and over, that they believe Travis Hunter is worth everything they've got.
The Jags traded three key draft assets to move up to No. 2 and draft Hunter about two months ago.
And on Sunday, they gave Hunter a record-setting rookie deal.
The four years and $46.65 million that Hunter signed for were essentially pre-determined, unlike the old days of rookie deals with a lot more leeway.
But the Jags set a new record with Hunter's $30.57 million signing bonus. They paid it out entirely upfront, which according to ESPN's Adam Schefter is the first time that has ever happened.

Hunter's biggest NFL contract intrigue will come as his career progresses.
If he does indeed shine as a two-way player, with a starring role at both cornerback and wide receiver, he'll be an unprecedented evaluation.
How do you pay a guy who plays two roles at once?
The Jags are sure hoping they have that problem to figure out. They've invested a ton in Hunter.
Now, it's his turn to start paying off on that investment.
