The Jacksonville Jaguars are trying to chase down the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
No one saw this coming.
But the Jags are doing everything they can now to give themselves a real chance at reaching all their goals.
On Thursday, that meant signing Keith Taylor off the Atlanta Falcons' practice squad. The move came across the NFL's transaction on Thursday afternoon.
Taylor was originally a fifth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers.
He spent two seasons with the Panthers, then spent 2023-24 with the Kansas City Chiefs. That means he's got a Super Bowl ring.
He joined the Falcons before the 2025 season.

Since Taylor was on the practice squad, he was able to be signed by another team to an active roster, and the Jags bolstered their secondary with the move.
Taylor only appeared in two games with the Falcons this season, making six tackles.
In 47 career NFL games, Taylor has 78 tackles and six passes defensed.
He's still looking for his first career interception in the NFL.
The Jags play at the Colts this week, then host the Titans in Week 18.
