Jacob Fatu reacts to current female WWE champion's reaction to a freak accident while being injured himself

Jacob Fatu has reacted to a message posted by Asuka on social media. The latter is the reigning WWE Women's Tag Team Champion.

Asuka returned to WWE in June 2025 after a year of inactivity. She entered the 2025 Queen of the Ring tournament and won a Fatal Four-Way match before losing to Jade Cargill in the final. On the July 7 episode of RAW, the Kabuki Warriors reunited with Asuka, saving Kairi Sane from Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. On the November 10th episode of Monday Night RAW, the duo defeated Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair to win the Women's Tag Team Championships for the third time. The win also marked Asuka's fifth reign as tag team champion.

On social media, Asuka reacted to a story of her accidentally fracturing her tooth due to a mistake by Shayna Baszler. The Samoan Werewolf reacted to the same by posting his reaction on X.

How did WWE Superstar Asuka react to the Shayna Baszler incident?

Asuka sent out a message on social media, reflecting on the incident that occurred with Shayna Baszler. The Empress of Tomorrow's tooth was fractured due to a mistake made by the former WWE star.

On social media, she posted the following, reacting to Baszler explaining the incident:

"My tooth was fractured due to a mistake by Shayna Baszler. At the time I told her I was okay because I did not want her to carry the guilt. But I ended up needing surgery and of course I was not okay. I just did not want her to feel responsible knowing that these things happen in our line of work. I thought that if I just endured it then everything would be fine. Seeing people mocking me in the comments makes me realize once again how cruel the world is. But I blame no one. I do not even wish misfortune upon those who lack kindness. In fact I am more cruel than these cruel people because I will be far happier than they are. While people spend their time mocking me I am savoring and embracing every bit of my happiness. My ideal life is already nearing its completion. Thank you,"

Asuka and Kairi Sane will defend the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships next week against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY on RAW.
