IYO SKY puts her body on the line to save Rhea Ripley on WWE RAW

IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley were on the receiving end of a brutal attack on WWE RAW. IYO saved her partner from being attacked further.

IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley have developed a sweet friendship in recent weeks. However, this friendship didn't sit well with the Kabuki Warriors, and they betrayed IYO a few weeks ago. This kick-started a feud between the Kabuki Warriors and Rhiyo. Now, Ripley and IYO are set to challenge Asuka and Kairi Sane for the Women's Tag Team Titles on the January 5th episode of RAW.

Tonight on the red brand, Rhea and IYO SKY came out to address their upcoming title match. During their entrance, Asuka showed up in the crowd and hit Ripley with the poison mist. The Kabuki Warriors ambushed both the babyfaces. Kairi Sane was about to hit Rhea with the Insane elbow when IYO entered the ring and covered the former Women's World Champion, thereby taking the move instead.

Nikki Bella wants Rhea Ripley to be her last-ever opponent

Nikki Bella returned to the ring earlier this year and has since been a regular feature on TV. She even turned heel recently and challenged for the Women's World Championship.

During an interview with Outspoken, Nikki Bella was asked about her potential retirement match and who she would want to face. Nikki picked Mami to be her final opponent. She noted how her niece is a huge Ripley fan.

"I get to pick. I would wanna be in my greatest heel moment, a top heel with probably a faction behind me. Unstoppable, and I think I would want it to be Rhea Ripley. Powerhouse. They were in Glendale last monday, and my brother's daughter has become a huge fan. So she went to the merch stand, she watched the show and they wanted to get some merch after, and she didn't want to buy my hat. She's like, 'Well, Auntie Coco can just send me a hat. I want a Rhea Ripley shirt.' And then sent me a photo in a Rhea shirt. I was like, 'Huh, how dare her?'"

It remains to be seen when Nikki Bella will decide to hang up her boots.
