Italian golfer Matteo Manassero finally gets closer to his PGA dream at the age of 32

Italian golfer Matteo Manassero is in contention to win his maiden PGA Tour event at this week's 2025 RBC Canadian Open. He is tied for the lead with Ryan Fox at 14-under after 54 holes of the game.

Matteo Manassero has been playing golf professionally since 2010 and has so far won eight events in his career. He has five wins on the European Tour alone but is yet to taste victory on the PGA Tour.

The 32-year-old golfer started his campaign at the 2025 RBC Canadian Open with an opening round of 67, followed by a round of 65 to make the cut in the event. He played the third round of 64 to settle in a tie for the lead.

This season on the PGA Tour, he has played in a total of 11 tournaments and made the cut in eight of them. In his last outing at the OneFlight Myrtle Beach Classic, he was tied for 61st place after playing four rounds of 67, 71, 74, and 72.

When will Matteo Manassero tee off on Sunday at 2025 RBC Canadian Open?

For the final round of the RBC Canadian Open, which is scheduled for Sunday, June 8, Matteo Manassero will tee off with Ryan Fox at 1:45 pm ET. The play on Sunday will start at 7:55 am ET. Wyndham Clark and Hayden Springer will take the first shot on Sunday.
