"It broke my heart" - Dominik Mysterio opens up on his recent encounter with John Cena

WWE star Dominik Mysterio has a heated ongoing rivalry with John Cena. The two stars have been feuding over the Intercontinental Championship.

"Dirty" Dom confronted Cena this past week on Raw. He was irate with the 17-time world champion for winning the Intercontinental title from him last week. Dominik demanded a rematch and claimed that it would happen in his hometown of San Diego at Survivor Series.

During an exclusive chat on the Delivering Happiness show, Dominik claimed that he never expected to defend the title against Cena with an emotionally charged Boston crowd behind him. The self-proclaimed King of Luchadors noted that he was several years younger than John, and he would make sure to get his revenge before the Cenation Leader hung up his boots once and for all.

"It broke my heart. I wasn't expecting his old a*s to come out there and you know, do what he did. At the end of the day, I'm like 30 years younger than this dude. I gotta get my lick back before he leaves."

Dominik Mysterio will face John Cena at Survivor Series

At Survivor Series: Wargames, Dominik Mysterio will have the opportunity to settle scores with John Cena. After losing the title in Boston, Dominik has been trying to get back at the legendary wrestler.

He was even part of a huge six-man tag team match this past week on RAW, where he teamed up with his Judgment Day companions Finn Balor and JD McDonagh to face Cena, Sheamus, and Rey Mysterio.

However, the heels had a tough time against the trio of former world champions. It will be interesting to see if Mysterio can get his title back at the upcoming PLE.
