Just days before Super Bowl 60, the NFL will celebrate the 2025 season with the NFL Honors banquet on Thursday night. With awards like the MVP, Rookies of the Year and Walter Payton Man of the Year being given out, the NFL's best are in attendance.

This includes future Hall-of-Famer Travis Kelce, who is in attendance after not making the Super Bowl for the first time in four seasons. While rumors continue to speculate about the tight end's future in the NFL, the Kansas City star is in San Francisco for the festivities.

At the honors, Travis and his brother Jason have a table together, and next to it there are two open seats reserved for plus ones. This fuels the question that followed around the Chiefs for the past three seasons: is Taylor Swift in attendance?

Here's the latest updates of whether Swift is in attendance with her fiancé.

Is Travis Kelce retiring?

Kelce, who will surely be in Canton, Ohio after his retirement, has not made a decision on his immediate future. Now 36 done with his 13th NFL campaign, has told reporters he is currently focusing on "being a human" for a few weeks before making a final call on his future with the Chiefs.

For the first time in Kelce’s career, the Chiefs missed the playoffs, finishing with a 6-11 record. The season was derailed by a devastating Week 15 ACL tear suffered by Patrick Mahomes, which has cast a shadow over the team's immediate competitiveness in 2026.

Kelce posted a solid but "non-peak" season with 76 receptions for 851 yards. He recently pulled out of the 2026 Pro Bowl to allow his body to heal and later went on his "New Heights" podcast, stating that if he feels he can give the game another "21-week run," he will return "in a heartbeat."

Despite the uncertainty, there are clues pointing towards both sides. Recently hired offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy recently stated he is "fired up" to work with Kelce again, and team owner Clark Hunt has publicly lobbied for his return, noting that Kelce is still one of the league's premier leaders.

Though, it is up to the tight end himself to make the decision, which he stated he wants to make with friends and family.
