When the Cleveland Browns take the field on Sunday versus the Baltimore Ravens, the team will have its 2025 second-round pick, running back Quinshon Judkins.
After being away from the team throughout training camp and the preseason due to a legal issue, Judkins had the charge dropped last month and signed his rookie contract prior to Week 1.
Judkins didn't play in the team's season-opener, but the path for him to suit up in Week 2 is now clear after the team activated him on Saturday afternoon.
But does that mean he's going to play against the Ravens in Week 2? And, if so, how much work can we expect him to get?
Here's what we know.
Is Quinshon Judkins playing today?
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Judkins will make his debut in Week 2 versus the Ravens.
While it's quite clear he's going to play, it remains unclear exactly how many snaps and touches he's going to get. There are differing reports on that.
Quinshon Judkins workload expectation
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Judkins' snaps will be "closely monitored" and he is expected to play a backup role in his first game, although Cleveland is obviously hoping he turns into the starter at some point.
"Browns RB Quinshon Judkins, making his NFL debut, will have his snaps closely monitored. But expect him to have the snaps of a backup RB as he ramps up, while the team hopes he eventually becomes the starter," Rapoport reported.
CBS Sports' Jonathan Jones is reporting something a bit different, as he says the Browns rookie "won't have any restrictions" and is "expected to see plenty of action" on Sunday.
"The 36th overall pick out of Ohio State won't have any restrictions in Sunday's game against the Ravens, sources tell CBS Sports. Though it's unclear if he will start over Dylan Sampson and Jerome Ford, Judkins is expected to see plenty of action against Baltimore after being activated Saturday afternoon," Jones wrote.
With Judkins still ramping up, and based on Rapoport's and Jones' reporting, we would expect to see Judkins get anywhere from five to 10 touches in his debut.
Look for fellow Browns rookie Dylan Sampson to once again lead the backfield in touches after he was heavily involved in both the rushing and passing attacks last week.
Veteran Jerome Ford will still likely mix in, also, but we peg him as the RB3 with Judkins back. Sampson had 20 touches to Ford's eight last week, but Ford out-snapped Sampson, 41-33. Judkins should eat more into Ford's snaps than Sampson's, but that's just an educated guess.
Consider Sampson a flex option, albeit a shaky one now that there's another mouth to feed in the backfield. Neither Judkins nor Ford are suggested starters, but it may not be long before the former is a starting option.
