Is Nico Collins playing today? Why Texans WR is off to slow start in Week 16

Nico Collins has been the Houston Texans' No.1 wide receiver over the last few seasons, and he hasn't lost that role in 2025.

Collins has already reached 1,000 yards for the third straight year, as he has tallied 64 receptions for 1,001 yards and six touchdowns in 13 games this season.

Though Collins has been a dynamic playmaker and C.J. Stroud's top target in 2025, he's been quiet in Week 16 versus the Las Vegas Raiders.

Is Nico Collins playing today?

Collins is active and playing today for the Texans versus the Raiders, but the 26-year-old has yet to get on the board.

Stroud targeted Collins twice on Houston's opening drive, but the two failed to connect. The Texans were forced to punt to begin the game, but the defense was able to force a pick-six on Raiders quarterback Geno Smith.

Collins should be able to get going soon, as he is the featured receiver in Nick Caley's offense.
