The Los Angeles Lakers fell short against the Oklahoma City, 119-110, on Monday night.
It was a tough loss, but the Lakers won’t have long to dwell on it, as they’ll be back in action to host the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night.
Lakers yet to release injury report for game vs. Spurs
Star guard Luka Doncic didn’t play against Oklahoma City, as he was sidelined for the game due to a hamstring strain. It was the second straight game missed by Doncic due to the injury.
When it comes to Doncic’s status for the game against the Spurs, we’ll have to wait and see, as the Lakers have yet to submit an official injury report for the contest.
Given the fact that he didn’t play on Monday night, it seems somewhat unlikely that he’ll be good to go on Tuesday, but you never know.
On the season, Doncic has appeared in 42 games for the Lakers and is averaging 32.8 points, 8.6 assists, 7.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals per performance. He's leading the league in points per game and was recently named an All-Star for the sixth time in his career.
The matchup between Los Angeles and San Antonio will be the fourth and final of the season between the two teams. The Lakers won the first meeting back in November, but the Spurs have won the two most recent matchups. The Lakers could tie the season series with a victory on Tuesday night.
This story will be updated with Doncic's final status for the game.
