Do the Cleveland Browns need to fire head coach Kevin Stefanski?

At the start of training camp back in July, franchise owner Jimmy Haslam addressed expectations for the upcoming season.

"We got to do better than three, okay?" Haslam commented. "Everybody, coaches, players, personnel, ownership, all knows that 3-14 won't cut it". He continued, "We've got to do better. I think we'll know what better looks like".

Since the Browns have limped their way to a fourth victory in 2025, is that technically enough for Haslam not to fire Stefanski?

The players are still clearly working hard for their sideline leader after grinding out a 13-6 win over rival Pittsburgh in the home finale on Sunday. Yet issues like sloppy penalties, lack of accountability, and an outdated looking offense ranked 31st in points-per-game remain.

ESPN Cleveland host Tony Rizzo believes nothing has changed:

An interesting angle to consider is if Stefanski would want to be let go after six seasons and two NFL Coach of the Year awards to start fresh somewhere else.

Long-time ESPN Browns analyst Tony Grossi stated Monday morning:

Browns fans will get their answer soon enough as to whether or not a major shakeup is coming. One more game to go, as Cleveland wraps up 2025 on the road against the Bengals.
