The Philadelphia 76ers will be seeking a second straight win when they host the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday night.
It will be the second and final meeting between the teams this season. Portland came out victorious in the first matchup in February.
Joel Embiid ruled out vs. Trail Blazers due to right oblique strain
Unfortunately for Philadelphia, they'll continue to be without star center Joel Embiid, who has been ruled out against Portland due to a right oblique strain.
It will be the ninth consecutive game missed by Embiid. His last game action came against the Miami Heat on Feb. 26. Sixers coach Nick Nurse recently suggested that Embiid could potentially return on the team's upcoming, but no concrete return timetable has been provided.
On the season, Embiid has played in just 33 games for Philadelphia and posted averages of 26.6 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.1 blocks per performance.
In addition to Embiid, the Sixers will also be without the services of Tyrese Maxey (right finger tendon injury), Paul George (suspension) and Kelly Oubre Jr. (left elbow sprain) against Portland.
