The Nets forward posted a cryptic story of him spending time with someone. Porter did not show the face of the person he was with. However, fans pieced things together, which led them to believe that Ice Spice was the person who was with the former Missouri star.

The person's left arm had a distinct butterfly tattoo. It looks exactly like the one on Ice Spice's left arm. The story has since been deleted. However, fans kept a screenshot of it and posted it on X.

Fans also linked this to the rapper's visit to the Barclays Center in November. The rap artist sat courtside to watch a Nets game.

However, neither personality has addressed the rumors. Ice Spice has remained silent, and Michael Porter Jr. hasn't confirmed the rumor. The rapper did not post anything cryptic that would've led fans to keep the rumors running.

The Denver Nuggets traded Porter over the offseason, and this is his first season with the Nets. He has appeared in 22 games, averaging 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists. The 6-foot-10 forward has a shot to be an All-Star this season, given the way he's been playing.

This isn't the only dating rumor that the star forward has faced recently. A satirical account on X, BrickCenter, started the rumor about Porter and WNBA star Sophie Cunningham. The post was uploaded on the social media platfom in November.

A photo of the duo was posted on the Instagram account of Porter's podcast, "Curious Mike." The X account reposted the story and hinted that the two are dating in the caption. This led to fans believing the dating rumors about them.

Amid this, Porter was in hot water for his takes about the WNBA. He hinted that a team with WNBA stars wouldn't be able to beat a McDonald's All-American team with high school players. However, he cleared the air and mentioned that he talked about it with Cunningham.

Following this, the dating rumors were debunked, and Michael Porter Jr. even said that Cunningham is a close friend of his. The two basketball stars grew up in Columbia, Missouri.
