It may wind up looking extra crucial that the Jacksonville Jaguars traded for Jakobi Meyers this week.
Not only is Travis Hunter out injured. The Jags aren't sure whether they'll have Brian Thomas Jr. for Week 10.
They play on Sunday, putting their 5-3 record on the line against the 3-5 Houston Texans, who are shorthanded without starting QB C.J. Stroud. Davis Mills will start at quarterback for Houston.
The Jaguars need to take care of business against a QB2 to try and maintain some striking distance in the AFC South behind the Indianapolis Colts.
Having Thomas would certainly make doing that a little easier.

Is Brian Thomas Jr. playing this week?
Brian Thomas Jr. is in major doubt to play in Week 10 for the Jaguars against the Texans.
He has not practiced on Wednesday or Thursday this week.
Thomas is dealing with an ankle injury.
He had three catches for 55 yards in Week 9, and while his season has been a bit of a disappointment, he's still super talented.
Meyers will have to learn the playbook in a hurry to get out there and contribute immediately.
If Thomas is out, it will mean another huge role for Parker Washington a week after he had six catches.
Trevor Lawrence would certainly like having all his weapons out there, but the WR injury bug seems to be going around in Jacksonville.
