The Jacksonville Jaguars are on the cusp of getting back a key weapon in their offense in tight end Brenton Strange.
Strange suffered a hip injury all the way back in Week 5 that led to his placement on injured reserve.
Strange returned to practice in recent weeks and logged three limited sessions in Week 12 before drawing a questionable tag.
The Jaguars, did, however, activate Strange off injured reserve on Saturday, which clears the way for him to play. That said, he still holds the questionable label.
Here's what we know about Strange's status for Week 12, along with some fantasy football start or sit advice.
Is Brenton Strange playing today?
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Strange is expected to play on Sunday.
"Jaguars activated TE Brenton Strange from injured reserve and he is expected to play Sunday versus the Cardinals," Schefter wrote.
Brenton Strange start or sit advice
Over the five games he played in this season, Strange ranked as TE20 overall, which puts him into the sea of dart-throw TE2s in fantasy football.
Knowing that, it's all about the matchup for Strange.
The Jags' Week 12 opponent is the Arizona Cardinals and they are giving up the eighth-most fantasy points per game to tight ends.
The Jaguars also won't have the services of wide receivers Brian Thomas Jr. and Travis Hunter in Week 12 because of injuries, so quarterback Trevor Lawrence might have to lean more on his tight end.
Consider Strange a solid starting option in Week 12.
