Is Aaron Rodgers playing this week? Steelers' QB news gets final injury report

The Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Chicago Bears in a matchup of two playoff contenders on Sunday.

The Bears know they'll have their star quarterback out there in Caleb Williams. The Steelers are less certain about their QB position with Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers is coming off a couple shaky games, but that's not the question mark.

The future Hall of Famer was hurt on Sunday, and his status is in doubt.

Is Aaron Rodgers playing this week?

Rodgers is officially questionable to play in Week 12 against the Chicago Bears.

He sustained a small fracture in his left (non-throwing) wrist against the Bengals in Week 11.

Rodgers was a limited participant in practice on both Thursday and Friday. He wore a stabilizer on that wrist when at practice.

"Got to get the OK and got to feel like I can protect myself," Rodgers told reporters this week, via ESPN.

Rodgers' backup is the reliable Mason Rudolph. If Rudolph was pressed into the starting role, sixth-round rookie Will Howard out of Ohio State would take over backup duties.

In his career, Rodgers is 24-5 against the Bears. The Steelers wouldn't mind a chance to get that to 25-5, if Rodgers' health will allow it.
