The Baltimore Ravens have been copping heat for their decision to back out of the Maxx Crosby trade ever since it was announced.
With Maxx failing his physical, the Ravens pulled the plug on a deal that hadn't even been made official yet.
So yes, that isn't a great look, but Baltimore was well within its rights to do that.
But the latest update from insider Dianna Russini isn't.
She was a guest on the Rich Eisen Show and dropped a piece of information that will leave you shaking your head.
“I think the reason why the Ravens are taking so much heat and why the Raiders are obviously mad about this is it seems fishy that Trey Hendrickson, that those conversations started yesterday,” Russini said on the Rich Eisen Show.
“I can tell you that the Ravens spoke to Trey Hendrickson yesterday while Maxx Crosby was in the building. So that tells you that they were aware that something was going on. Maxx Crosby was there not knowing he was a dead man walking, that this was not going to be his team. That’s the problem here.”

Ravens look bad with latest update
The fact that the Ravens were reportedly talking to Trey Hendrickson, a player they have since signed, while Maxx was still in the building, expecting to be a Raven, isn't a good look.
The reason why Baltimore is getting so much criticism now makes sense.
Maxx likely had to be blindsided by the news his trade fell through, but to then find out the team you thought you were joining was already moving on so quickly with Hendrickson?
Yeah, that isn't great.
Now, Maxx is reportedly back in Las Vegas, rehabbing his knee, with the Ravens the clear bad guys in this entire situation.
