Inside Heidi Klum’s private world: A documentary, a new era and a ‘really hot husband’

1 hour ago 3

Heidi Klum remains deeply in love with her husband of almost seven years, musician Tom Kaulitz.

“We just clicked from the very first moment!” she exclusively tells Page Six from her Bel Air, Calif., home. “He’s really hot!”

At 52, the supermodel, television host and producer is clearly enjoying the life she’s built with Kaulitz, 36.

“There is a kind of feeling of home with him that I had from the very beginning,” she explains. “I feel cared for, loved, worshipped.”

The pair, who have been married since 2019, share a chemistry that’s impossible to miss.

“We love each other’s company and have fun together,” she adds. “It’s just been really amazing.”

Klum’s comments on her marital life come on the verge of her opening the doors to her family life and the career that has defined her for more than three decades.

In “On & Off the Catwalk by Heidi Klum,” a new two-part documentary series, viewers are given a rare behind-the-scenes look at Klum’s world, together with two of her four children, Leni, 21, and Henry Samuel, 20.

“I’ve been approached to do a reality show for quite some time, and I’ve never really wanted to open the doors to our house,” Klum explains. “But I’m doing it because I wanted people to see behind the scenes of what it’s like to be a model.”

The series will capture major milestones. Henry has landed a breakthrough role as the face of YSL Beauty, while Leni has been modeling since she was 16.

“It’s amazing how they are finding their way in this industry,” Klum says. “Even though they watch me, they couldn’t be more different. They have their own head on their shoulders. They have their own opinions. Most of the time, it’s always the opposite of what I like.”

“They are like I am! They’re like little hams! We’re all, ‘OK, let us show you how this is done!’”

That confidence is something Klum has always embodied.

“You have to [be confident] in order to do this kind of job. All eyes are always on you, so you have to be okay with that. And also like it.”

“I have fun when I do my work, and I feel like at the end of the day, it shows,” she notes.

That sense of ease extends into everyday life in Los Angeles, where she and Kaulitz hike regularly with their two dogs, an activity that helps to maintain her incredible physique.

“It’s just beautiful here in Los Angeles. There are so many amazing trails that you sometimes forget where you are.”

But one spot in particular holds deep meaning for the couple.

“I always love Chateau Marmont,” she reveals. “I met my husband there! He wrote a song that’s called ‘Chateau’…it’s about us when we met!”

As for her famous bikini body, Klum has a simple rule: “Keep food as real and as unprocessed as possible,” she says. “You are what you eat.”

“I’d rather eat an apple or a banana as a snack instead of some pre-made bar where I don’t know what the heck is in it,” she says. “Support farmers, get wholesome good food and try to keep it as healthy as possible.”

“I don’t overdo anything,” the model added. “You have to listen to your body.” heidiklum/Instagram

“I don’t overdo anything, I don’t overexercise,” she explains. “You have to listen to your body and not over-exhaust it. It’s important to always move, it’s important to not sit still.”

It’s certain that at whatever age, Klum is not ready to slow down.

“I feel like I’ve always walked to the beat of my own drum, so to speak, with fashion, with anything, with my personal life,” she says. “At the end of the day, we’re all going to leave this planet … and while I’m here, I want to have a great time and do the things that I actually love doing instead of doing the things I don’t want to do.”

“On & Off the Catwalk by Heidi Klum” premieres Sunday, Feb. 22, and Sunday, March 1, at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben and Joyn.
