Ink Game Christmas update patch notes

The Christmas event in Ink Game is inviting players to tackle multiple challenges and earn festive rewards. A Christmas Tree has spawned at the back of the lobby, which players can adorn with ornaments to obtain Gingerbread, Power Rolls, and more items. During the games, mini grinch elves have a chance to spawn at random parts of the map and bother the contestants. You must kick or push them away before they cause trouble.

Christmas update

• The entire game has been decorated in a Winter Theme
• Gingerbread is the event currency used in the Christmas Shop
• Decorations spawn during games (ornaments, wreaths, toys, lights, etc.) that you can collect and place on your Christmas Tree
• Hold E to pick up decorations - Everyone can try to pick them up, but only one player can claim each one
• Your pickup can be cancelled if you get pushed/ragdolled/interrupted
• Small ornaments - near instant pickup, bigger items like wreaths and lights have longer pickup times
• Decorations spawn in pre-determined locations for each game
• After collecting decorations in games, go to your tree at the back of the lobby and place them
• Once you complete your tree, presents will rain down containing Gingerbread, Power Rolls, and rare rewards

Daily Quests boosts (2x rewards)

• Daily Quests have been reskinned for winter
• Double Rewards are active
• Every reward from Daily Quests is doubled
• 2x rewards for the holidays

Christmas Tree Progression

• There’s a Christmas Tree at the back of the lobby (each player has their own)
• Festive Peabert is under the tree with information
• Progress is saved even if you leave and rejoin
• After collecting decorations in games, you need to go to your tree and place them
• Once you place one of each decoration, you’ll be told you need one last item…

The Star

• The Star is hidden until you’ve completed every other decoration
• You cannot see or pick up the Star unless your tree is ready
• There’s a chance for the Star to spawn in every round
• Once you grab and place the Star, your tree is completed

Presents and Prize Pool

• Completing your tree (getting the Star) triggers Presents Falling around you
• Every present you open pulls from a Prize Pool
• Prize pool can include: Gingerbread, Power Rolls, and more surprises

Chaos during games

• Mini Grinch Elves may appear during the game and bother you
• Stop them by: pushing, attacking, holding E to do a kick animation for extra rewards
• Santa Peabert may fly across maps in a sleigh, dropping decorations from above

Christmas Shop

• Candy → Gingerbread conversion is live
• Christmas shop includes: Winter cosmetics, Titles, Costumes, and Emotes
• Everything is event-exclusive and purchasable with Gingerbread

Advent Calendar

• The Advent Calendar is here!
• Log in every day to claim rewards
• There’s a special reward waiting on the last day

Lobby Leaderboard

• Added a Leaderboard showing players with the highest Wins
• Shows both Total Wins and Monthly Wins

Performance Improvements

• Android / Mobile lag has been significantly decreased

Combat changes

• Backstab knife startup is 20% faster (0.5 → 0.41)
• Base knife swing damage increased by 20% (15 → 18) [Still 15 in Final Dinner]
• Knife hitbox is now more in front of you instead of behind you

Miscellaneous changes

• Added an in-game changelog
• Anti-cheat improvements

Powers

• Snowball Launcher is a Legendary Power you can roll for in the shop
• Sub Zero can be obtained with a high % chance from a special Spinner
• The Spinner has a chance of spawning when you open presents
