Injury updates: Payton Pritchard, Harrison Barnes and more ahead of Spurs vs. Celtics

The San Antonio Spurs are undoubtedly the hottest team in basketball, having won 15 of their last 16 games including a recent 11-game win streak.

After that streak was snapped by the New York Knicks, the Spurs have picked up where they left off, having won their last four games.

However, San Antonio faces a tough matchup Tuesday night, hosting the Boston Celtics and Jayson Tatum who recently made his season debut.

That said, the Celtics will be without Payton Pritchard who has been ruled out due to neck spasms and the recently acquired Nikola Vucevic who suffered a fractured finger against the Dallas Mavericks.

As for San Antonio, they'll get an added boost as one of their veterans is expected to make his Spurs debut.

13-year veteran Mason Plumlee has been removed from the injury report following groin surgery and will be available for Tuesday's game.

Plumlee spent the beginning of the season with the Charlotte Hornets before being traded to the Thunder. Plumlee was waived soon after to make room for Jared McCain, allowing the Spurs to scoop him up.

Ahead of the matchup, Plumlee feels healthy saying: "My body feels great. They (The Spurs) had a good plan to get me back to playing shape and I'm ready to go."

Although Plumlee is back into the fold, San Antonio will be without Harrison Barnes who's been ruled out due to an ankle injury. Lindy Waters III has been listed as questionable due to illness.
