The San Antonio Spurs became the second NBA team to reach 50 wins Monday, defeating the Los Angeles Clippers away from home.
As a result, they've won seven of their last eight games and trail the Oklahoma City Thunder by three games for the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference.
That said, they'll play another road game Tuesday night on the second night of a back-to-back.
In the final game of a brief two-game road trip, San Antonio will face the Sacramento Kings who hold the worst record in the conference (18-51).
However, they'll be without at least one of their main contributors.
Devin Vassell has been ruled out for San Antonio due to an ankle injury, while Luke Kornet and Dylan Harper have been listed as questionable after missing Monday's game.
As for the Kings, they'll be without plenty of their main contributors. Domantas Sabonis, Zach LaVine, De'Andre Hunter and Drew Eubanks have all been ruled out for the rest of the season.
Keegan Murray and Devin Carter have been ruled out due to ankle and calf injuries.
Lastly, Malik Monk is listed as questionable with an ankle injury.
With Vassell sidelined, expect Keldon Johnson to take on the scoring responsibility in the second unit. Jordan McLaughlin may also be called upon to handle the ball if Harper remains out.
For Sacramento, if Monk is also sidelined, the Spurs will likely see a heavy dose of DeMar DeRozan who scored 41 points in his last game against the Utah Jazz.
