Masaaki Noiri isn't dwelling on defeat; he's already plotting his path back to championship gold.

The 32-year-old Japanese striker broke his silence following his unanimous decision loss to Superbon in the ONE 173: Superbon vs. Noiri main event on Sunday, November 16. Noiri posted a heartfelt message on Instagram that revealed both his frustration and his determination to reclaim what he believes is rightfully his.

"I will make it back here, no matter what. I will come back and take it back. I'll never forget this frustration," Masaaki Noiri wrote on his Instagram account.

The Japanese striker couldn't live up to his promise of delivering a performance of a lifetime to unify the crown and leave the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan, as the division's undisputed king.

Though he fought with plenty of grit throughout the 15-minute war, the Team Vasileus man was largely outplayed by Superbon's technical masterclass. The 35-year-old Thai found a way to slam in his signature head kicks repeatedly, and followed up with knees whenever the two traded in proximity.

Despite being forced to absorb a painful defeat in the Japanese capital, Noiri showed respect for the man who emerged victorious in the main event last Sunday.

"Thank you, champion, for the fight. It was an honor to share the ring with such a great champion," he continued in his Instagram post.
