The Buffalo Bills were rumored to be buyers at the 2025 trade deadline. However, the day came and went with the Bills failing to make any moves ahead of the second half of the season.

The Bills' general manager, Brandon Beane, has expressed frustration over not making a trade on the busy day. Beane said,

"I went home mad as any other fan... I wanted to do things, I always want to make this team better. ... I ain't giving up. But I also believe in our roster too. ... I do believe we can win a championship with this roster."

Beane didn't mince words when expressing his frustration about not being able to add to his roster on the deadline. He stated his initial desire to improve the team, but it wasn't to be.

Still, the accomplished GM believes that the current roster is talented enough to win it all at the end of the ongoing campaign. That means head coach Sean McDermott continues the season with the same objective as it was at the start of the campaign. The goal remains to lift the Lombardi Trophy at Levi's Stadium in February.

Buffalo Bills trail New England Patriots entering Week 10

The Buffalo Bills have ruled the AFC East over the past few seasons. Josh Allen and Co. have won five consecutive divisional titles, and their rivals hardly got a sniff in the post-Bill Belichick and Tom Brady era. However, this season sees the rise of a sleeping giant in the division.

The Mike Vrabel-coached New England Patriots are at the top of the AFC East. They enter Week 10 with a 7-2 record and stability at the quarterback position for the first time in about half a decade. The Bills sit second at 6-2.

The Patriots proved that they weren't to be underestimated when they beat the Bills in Week 5. They've rattled off four consecutive wins since that famous victory over Josh Allen and Co.

The Bills' next game is against the Miami Dolphins, while the Patriots face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Both sides will look to record wins to stay in the divisional title race. Following them on the table are the Miami Dolphins (2-7) and the New York Jets (1-7).
