“I want to share this joy” - Tawanchai says becoming a father has "changed" his life

ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai of Thailand prefers to keep his personal life away from the public eye.

But in recent months, the 26-year-old superstar has given a glimpse of his life outside the ring, revealing he married longtime sweetheart Sawita Yingchuan.

He also introduced their son Kirin and embraced fatherhood during his time away from fighting.

In an exclusive interview with ONE Championship, Tawanchai candidly shared how this new chapter of his life transformed him as a fighter and a person.

"When I first found out she was pregnant, I was surprised but also happy that it was happening so soon. As the bond grew, everything changed completely. Seeing my son for the first time filled me with overwhelming joy. Now that the time is right, I want everyone to see how adorable my son is.”

The PK Saenchai Muaythaigym affiliate continued:

“I usually prefer to stay quiet and avoid the media or social platforms. But I want to share this joy and let everyone know about my son. Being a father has changed my life. When I feel tired, I think of him. The motivation I had before has now doubled or tripled. I have a duty to be a good man, as a father loves his child."

Tawanchai says main goal in 2026 is to become a kickboxing world champion

Tawanchai PK Saenchai is not giving up on his dreams to become a two-sport world champion.

His path to that dream pits him on a collision course with China's Liu Mengyang, in the main event of ONE Friday Fights 137 on Dec. 19 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

"Currently, I haven't set any goals in Muay Thai. I just want to become the kickboxing world champion. If I win this fight, we'll have to see what happens next," Tawanchai told ONE.
