"I'm not officially hired” - 3-time Women’s Tag Team Champion says she’s not back with WWE

Former WWE superstar Shayna Baszler has not found a very good role in the independent circuit since her release from the Stamford-based company earlier this year. The former NXT Women's Champion made a major name for herself during her time in the company, and could make headlines with her future plans in the industry.

While Baszler's in-ring career has not made it to the top lately, the star revealed that she still had a chance to return to WWE. During a recent appearance on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, the star addressed her current relationship with the Stamford-based company.

The former WWE star stated that she was still on very good terms with the company and that she was guest coaching at the Performance Centre whenever she got an opportunity to do so. Not only that, but she further added that she was enjoying guest coaching for the future stars occasionally more than she had expected.

"I'm not officially hired, but I have a good relationship with them. I'm officially guest coaching when the opportunity comes... I don't hate it, I actually like it a lot more than I thought I would," she stated [H/T WrestleTalk]

Will Shayna Baszler return to the WWE ring?

While Baszler couldn't take the top spot in the women's wrestling division with her work in the company, considering her current relationship with the Stamford-based company, a potential return in the future can't be ruled out. The former star could make her comeback to the company one day, to end up taking over the spotlight and take another chance to get to the top. Fans will have to wait and see what the company has in store for the star in the future.
