“I’m not normal. I’m perfecto” - Cristiano Ronaldo makes stubborn statement when asked if he’s more handsome than David Beckham

Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that he is better-looking than than his fellow ex-Manchester United star David Beckham, boasting about his appearance. The Portugal international is regarded as a hugely successful individual, having built up a huge follower base with his success on and off the pitch.

Al-Nassr star Ronaldo spoke with media personality Piers Morgan in a revealing interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored, with the pair sharing their views on a number of topics. The host asked him about his physical appearance, to which he responded that he believes himself to be perfect and superior to Beckham, who is considered very attractive.

“Depends. For me, [good] looking is not only the face but the whole package".

When Morgan pressed the Portuguese star further with a comparison between himself and David Beckham, he claimed that he would garner more attention than Beckham, on a beach.

"Me, 100%. Come on. He knows that. His face is beautiful. Yeah. He has a handsome face. The rest is normal. Like it's normal. I'm not normal. I'm perfecto…But he’s looking good. He's a guy that I like. He's a guy who speaks good. I like him. I like him”, he said (via complex.com).

David Beckham enjoyed as much fame due to his good looks as he did due to his pinpoint passing on the football pitch. He was one of the first footballers to move beyond just being a successful footballer but also enjoy success as a model for multiple brands in the 1990s and 2000s.

Like Cristiano Ronaldo, Beckham played for Manchester United and Real Madrid, as well as enjoying stints with AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). He also moved to a less-known league, the MLS, with Los Angeles Galaxy to spark an increase in the influx of players in the league over the years.

Manchester United great Teddy Sheringham has predicted that Cristiano Ronaldo will emulate David Beckham in his next steps after retirement. The 40-year-old admitted to Piers Morgan in their interview that he is aware of the imminent end to his football career and has planned for his future.

Sheringham told Oddspedia that he does not expect to see Cristiano Ronaldo emulate the likes of Michael Carrick and Wayne Rooney by becoming a manager. He explained that the personality of the Portugal international especially will not allow him to work as a manager, where he would be at the mercy of a club's board.

“I can’t see Cristiano Ronaldo going into management after he retires. He’s far more likely to own a club rather than manage one - like what David Beckham has done at Inter Miami. “There are bigger and better things than being a manager for Ronaldo. He’s someone that wants to take on the world; it’s in his nature and he’s shown that on the football pitch for decades. In an ownership position, he’d have complete oversight over a club’s operations and personnel, in comparison to becoming a manager, where he’d be at the mercy of the club board. The world of football club management is completely different to the career of a player, and I can’t see Ronaldo entering that environment as a manager", he said (via GOAL).

Beckham has moved fully into football club management, as he is part of the ownership groups of both Inter Miami and Salford City. The Englishman is more prominent at the MLS club, playing a key role in luring Lionel Messi to the club back in 2023.
