“I know he’s played a big role” - Aliff praises Prajanchai for helping Tawanchai become a monster striker

Muay Thai sensation Aliff Sor Dechapan of Malaysia and Thailand may be brewing a budding rivalry with reigning and undisputed ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion Prajanchai PK Saenchai, but he’s also maintained a lot of respect for the Thai icon.

Aliff is particularly impressed by how Prajanchai has guided his teammate Tawanchai into an absolute force to be reckoned with.

Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview, Aliff talked about Prajanchai’s work with Tawanchai, and how that has helped the latter become a world champion.

The Sor Dechapan athlete said:

“Maybe. He is a fighter and I think we need to have that fight face when we are close to our opponents. But yeah, I know he’s played a big role in helping Tawanchai because they are from the same gyms.”

Aliff is fresh off an impressive unanimous decision victory over Ramadan ‘The Scorpion’ Ondash at the recently concluded ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu on Prime Video.

He’s now being positioned as the next in line to challenge for Prajanchai PK Saenchai’s strawweight Muay Thai gold. Their showdown is expected to take place sometime next year.
